My 1st Moleskine page - ever!

My little painting, in its loverly container, is on its way to Lisa! I really love what I came up with even though, upon looking at the pages of others, I realized that I'm pretty much the minimalist of the group! Which is not my normal moniker, that's for sure.

Ah well, I'll take it. :)

Anyway, I found myself in CVS getting various sundries and I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED SOMETHING WHILE I WAS IN THE STORE (these hair ties)! I'm sure you all can relate to having all sorts of ideas at home, in the car, etc. and then you find yourself in a store where you might actually be able to purchase said item and you completely space out. Yeah, I do that a lot - but not this time! And thus, this little painting was born :)

Well, they're really cool, Meg. I'll just have to wait to see what other folks to by the time it gets to me. I don't know whether I'll go minimalist or not. Actually, right now I'm thinking of doing some kind of hair drawing . . .

Woops, typo there-- "what other folks do" not "to".

Kathleen: I like your idea for this moly! I don't know what I am going to do yet... but I will think up something (and sooner rather than later!!)

Happy weekend to you all!

Those are pretty darn perfect! My 3-year-old recognized the "hair thingys" from across the room. Now if someone could just tell me how to put the darn things in her hair, because of course she ran to get the ones she has. I can do elastic bands and barrettes, but that's about the limit of my abilities.
